Kliffa2018 is the 7th district camp of Helsinki Metropolitan Area Scouts and Guides. It will be held from 23rd to 31st of July 2018 at the Evo campsite in Hämeenlinna, about 2 hours drive from Helsinki airport. Kliffa itself is a Finnish slang word meaning "fun and joyful". And these two things are exactly what Kliffa2018 is made of: a cheerfully intriguing and unique program which you get to experience with friends both old and new, while simultaneously enjoying the gorgeous Finnish nature and camping culture!
Kliffa2018 will be a camp of approximately 5500 scouts and guides and it will be hosted in both Finnish and English, so there's no need to worry about your Finnish skills as long as you remember what the word "kliffa" stands for! There will be a program for every age group: trackers (12-15 year olds), explorers (15-17 year olds) and rovers (18-22 year olds). We also warmly invite leaders, rovers and explorers to contribute to the camp program, as there is a variety of staff positions available. The camp fee is the same for both international and Finnish participants – the cost being 210€/person, which includes transportation to campsite from Helsinki, all meals, programs and accommodation in your own tents. You may also camp with your friendship Scout group, so make sure to contact them!
Registration to Kliffa2018 is now open! The registration form and more specific information can be found from our website, social media pages or just simply contact us by email.
Welcome to Finland!
